DevOps Engineering Manager

The DevOps engineering manager (internally called Chapter Lead) is responsible for the entire DevOps division at Infinite Lambda. This role requires extensive technical background that ensures the quality of delivery and supports the talent development operations within the division.

Your role consists of gathering feedback from the ongoing projects in order to recognise how to best utilise the cutting-edge technology that Infinite Lambda offers. It also includes assessing quality and making sure that world-class products are going to be deployed.

You will own and drive company-level technology strategies, initiatives, partnerships as well as to be responsible for Infinite Lambda’s information security management system. You will also take an active role in the DevOps recruitment, talent development and progression initiatives related to your division.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of DevOps engineering experience as well as 2 years of leadership experience
  • Experience in an international environment
  • Proficiency in English
  • Infrastructure and configuration management: Terraform, Cloudformation
  • Cloud Providers: AWS, GCP, Azure
  • Containers & container orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
  • CI/CD concepts and workflow
  • CI/CD software, preferably codepipeline/codebuild or GitLab-CI/CD
  • Network and security knowledge
  • Programming: Python scripting, Bash scripting, SQL
  • Relational databases: PostgreSQL
  • Automation tools: Jenkins or CircleCI
  • OS: Linux
  • Version Control: GIT
