DevOps Tech Lead

We are looking for a DevOps engineering lead to join our international team and to play an important role in our fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. This role requires an extensive technical background that ensures the quality of delivery and supports the talent development operations within the division.

As a DevOps tech lead, you’ll bring software engineering best practices and an engineering mindset to discussions on how infrastructure, security and IT are approached.

In this role, you will work across several clients to provide customised solutions to complex technical challenges. You will have the opportunity to actively contribute to our projects; solution architecture, consulting, and taking part in the pre-sales phase are some of the most important tasks.

This position involves 50% people management and leadership. In your daily work, you will manage a team of DevOps engineers, so coaching, mentoring, career support and employee wellbeing will also be among your responsibilities. You will take an active role in the DevOps engineer recruitment, talent development and progression initiatives related to your division. 

At Infinite Lambda, DevOps engineers turn complex, non-automated environments into insightful, easy-to-use, automated infrastructure. They work closely with both the internal team of engineers and our partners’ projects teams to deliver value that empower business owners to make better and more informed decisions as well as gain a significant lead over competitors.

Requirements

  • Extensive DevOps engineering experience (5+ years) and leadership experience (3+ years)
  • Infrastructure and configuration management: Terraform, Ansible etc.
  • Cloud Providers: AWS, GCP, Azure
  • Containers & container orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
  • CI/CD concepts and workflow
  • CI/CD software, preferably codepipeline/codebuild, GitLab, CircleCI etc.
  • Networking and security knowledge
  • Programming: Python scripting, Bash scripting, SQL
  • Relational databases: SQL
  • OS: Linux
  • Version Control: GIT
